Welcome to the House Oberhofer in San Candido!
The House Oberhofer is located in a quiet location at the eastern entrance to San Candido. Our house is a stone's throw from the historic center and the bus stop, the Acquafun indoor pool is located in the immediate vicinity, as is the San Candido hospital.
Our well-kept garden invites you to spend hours of relaxation, with a panoramic view: to the south Monte Baranci and the Tre Scarperi, to the north Monte di San Candido, which offers numerous walks with splendid views of the Sesto Dolomites, a UNESCO natural heritage site.
Leave your car parked in front of the house, everything can be reached on foot or by bicycle.
The cycle path to Lienz and the cross-country trails start near our house, the path of St. James passes in front of the house.
We are an ideal starting point for walks and hikes to the "Castle - Burg" towards Sesto or along the Drau.
The little ones find public playgrounds within walking distance.

San Candido and surroundings
San Candido is a historic village, which was always an important centre.
Restaurants, bars and wine bars invite you to get to know the local specialties, the pedestrian area of San Candido, the heart of San Candido, awaits you with numerous shops.
Even lovers of art and culture will be satisfied: the collegiate church of San Candido, with the monumental wooden group of the Crucifixion and the late Romanesque frescoes, is one of the most important Romanesque monuments of Tyrol.
San Candido is located in the Alta Pusteria holiday region and is the ideal starting point for many leisure activities: walks, mountain excursions, bicycle and mountain bike tours, climbing, etc.
In winter the Alta Pusteria Valley is known for its wonderful winter walks and perfectly groomed cross-country and ski trails - all reachable in a few minutes on foot, 'Skibus' (free for ski pass holders) or by car.
